Bulldog Hotline - Sept. 15, 2008

Hotline Reports
Tonight’s show follows Saturday’s escape in Columbia. Georgia won a typical hard-fought battle over South Carolina 14-7 for its 10th straight win dating back to last season. However, the 3-0 Dawgs were again demoted in the national polls, falling to #3 in both behind USC and Oklahoma. This weekend is the big trip to the desert; kickoff at Arizona St. is just after 8:00 pm ET. Also, the Alabama game in Athens on September 27 has been picked up by ESPN and will be a 7:45 pm ET kickoff.

Bulldog Hotline - Sept. 8, 2008

Hotline Reports
Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 56-17 rout over Central Michigan last Saturday. SEC play opens this coming Saturday at South Carolina (3:30, CBS).

Munson opened tonite with a recap of major undefeated teams and the top 10. BYU, Cal and Oregon were mentioned as teams scoring a lot early and of course East Carolina reaching for its place in the national spotlight. (West Virginia was also mentioned in this group but I don’t know why, except maybe in the opposite direction.)

Tonight’s show previews the Sugar Bowl vs. unbeaten Hawaii on Jan. 1 in New Orleans. Remember, Coach Richt has requested all Georgia fans wear BLACK in the Superdome.

Football hotline for the last time this year. Very long college football season and now the bowl season gets ready. By the time the Dawgs play, college football will be talking about a bunch of other games.

Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 26, 2007

Hotline Reports
It’s BCS bliss in the Bulldog Nation. Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 7th straight win over Tech, 31-17. The BCS selection show is Sunday, December 2, 8:00 pm ET on Fox.

College football may have been saving its best for last. It started Friday when Arkansas beat LSU in overtime. Missouri beat Kansas in that big war in the Midwest. Kentucky, not big enough or strong enough, stayed on the field with Tennessee for hours in several overtimes.
