Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 24-14 Homecoming win over Vandy. The long stretch of games away from Athens begins Saturday in Baton Rouge – Georgia vs. LSU is a 3:30 kickoff (CBS). Lots of concerns tonight about scoring chances that have been missed in the last two games.


Scott Howard opened running down UGA’s current rankings - #9 in all polls and #7 in the first BCS standings. Moreno was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week. Georgia has won the last two meetings vs. LSU – 2004 in Athens and 2005 in the SEC Championship Game.

Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 26-14 win over Tennessee, and covered a wide range of topics. Homecoming this Saturday is a battle of ranked teams when 5-1 Vanderbilt comes Between the Hedges (12:30, Raycom) to take on 5-1 Georgia. Game time for the Oct. 25 game at LSU will not be determined until next Sunday, as CBS is using a 6 day option to decide between UGA at LSU and Alabama at Tennessee.

Tonight’s show follows an open date and preceeds the important SEC game against Tennessee, 3:30 Saturday in Sanford Stadium. Questions covered a variety of topics.

Scott Howard opened up noting the new polls have UGA ranked #10 in all major polls. Also, the open date has allowed some injured players to heal but some are still out.

Lots of questions in the fallout from the 41-30 loss to Alabama Saturday night. And Richt gave his answers while in transit back to Athens from a speech in Savannah.

Scott opened tonite noting that 6 SEC teams are ranked this week, including Vandy, and that the Tennessee game Oct. 11 is now officially set for a 3:30 kickoff (CBS).

Tonight’s show finds LOTS going on in the Bulldog Nation tonight. #3 Georgia is coming off a 27-10 win at Arizona St. this past Saturday night, and is getting ready to host #8 Alabama this coming Saturday night (7:45, ESPN). Coach Richt has asked the fans to wear black, and ESPN College Gameday will be in Athens Saturday. Also, legendary play-by-play announcer Larry Munson announced his retirement this afternoon (the announcement came about 5:15 this afternoon). Scott Howard takes over hosting Bulldog Hotline, in addition to taking over for Munson calling the games.
