Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 30, 2009

Hotline Reports
We Run This State following Georgia’s 30-24 upset win over (then) 7th ranked Ga. Tech Saturday night. Tonight’s show follows the upset win at the flats. Callers were thrilled with the big win but also had questions about continuing the momentum from this game and getting the program back on track. UGA awaits its bowl assignment while fans speculate on possible staff changes.

Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 23, 2009

Hotline Reports
Georgia’s second half collapse against Kentucky soured the mood of the Bulldog Nation even more than prior losses. The collapse came in the wake of other sad news last Thursday, first that baseball player Chance Veazey is paralyzed, then that Uga VII had died of heart problems. Only 6 calls got on tonight but those ran the gamut of questions and fans’ opinions.

Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 16, 2009

Hotline Reports
Fans calling in tonight were more upbeat than in recent weeks. Tonight’s show followed Georgia’s fourth straight win over Auburn, 31-24 in Sanford Stadium last Saturday night. The final home game is this Saturday vs. Kentucky, 7:45 pm on ESPN2, and the regular season finale at Ga. Tech will be an 8:00 pm kickoff on Nov. 28, on ABC (or on ESPN2 in areas where ABC carries Notre Dame at Stanford).

Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 9, 2009

Hotline Reports
Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 38-0 homecoming win over Tennessee Tech, in which TT mustered only 55 yards total offense and failed to cross midfield. Most callers tonight were positive following the shutout win. However, the Dawgs still committed 11 penalties (9 in the second half – mostly procedure penalties) and again lost turnover margin. The Dawgs are 0-7-2 in turnover margin on the season.

It’s now Auburn week – 7:00 kickoff Saturday night in Sanford Stadium for the The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. ESPN2 will televise the game.

Bulldog Hotline - Nov. 2, 2009

Hotline Reports
Bulldog Nation is in a glum mood following Saturday’s crushing 41-17 loss in Jacksonville. Coach Richt once again had to face the tough questions on tonight’s show despite the best efforts of Scott Howard and the call screeners.
