NOTES:

Record attendance in Oxford – 26,929 for the weekend.

As we saw a few years ago, division leaders who are tied would be named co-champions and tie-breakers would be used only to determine the #1 & #2 seeds at Hoover.

LSU’s sweep over Auburn was its first series sweep of the year.

South Carolina leads Auburn by one game for the last spot at Hoover and also holds the tie-breaker by winning the series over Auburn.

Quick peek at the final two SEC weekends:
May 8-10: Arkansas at Alabama; Auburn at Kentucky, Florida at LSU, Vandy at Georgia, Miss. St. at Ole Miss, South Carolina at Tennessee
May 14-16 (Thurs.-Sat.): Alabama at Auburn, Ole Miss at Arkansas, Kentucky at Florida, Georgia at South Carolina, LSU at Miss. St., Tennessee at Vandy

In next week’s update – a review of series wins/losses for teams contending for Hoover.
