NOTES:
As of now, Auburn holds the 8th spot at Hoover and Vandy would not make it. Starting next Sunday, I’ll do the update in divisional and overall format.
Tennessee’s series win at LSU broke a Tiger streak of 9 straight series wins dating back to last year. The last team to win a series over LSU was UGA in week 6 last year (UGA 2 wins, one tie due to travel curfew).
Kentucky’s series win at Miss. State gave the Cats a measure of revenge on their former coach, John Cohen, who left UK after last season to succeed Ron Polk in Starkville.
9:30 pm update - the 39 run outburst in Starkville today matched game one on March 28 between SC & UK for the highest scoring SEC game this season. SC won that March 28 game at Lexington, 20-19. Thanks to Viper2369 on VentChat for the heads up.
