Georgia adds Tennessee Tech to 2009 Schedule
According to an OnlineAthens.com article, Georgia has added Tennessee Tech to the 2009 football schedule. Georgia will play TTU on November 7th at home.
Four Bulldogs Selected On Second Day Of NFL Draft
From GeorgiaDogs.com: ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia defensive end Marcus Howard, tailback Thomas Brown, offensive lineman Chester Adams and kicker Brandon Coutu were selected on the second day of the annual NFL draft Sunday which included rounds three through seven.
Howard was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round, Brown was taken by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round, and in the seventh round Adams was selected by the Chicago Bears while Coutu went to the Seattle Seahawks.

Gym Dogs Advance To Super Six With 197.625From GeorgiaDogs.com: ATHENS-----The Georgia gymnastics team finished first in the second preliminary session with a 197.625 Thursday to advance to the Super Six at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships held at Stegeman Coliseum. The Gym Dogs will try for their fourth straight NCAA title Friday at 6 p.m. ET. This is Georgia’s fourth straight year to win its preliminary round, and the Gym Dogs remain the only team to be represented in every Super Six since the start of the current championship format in 1993.
