It’s BCS bliss in the Bulldog Nation. Tonight’s show follows Georgia’s 7th straight win over Tech, 31-17. The BCS selection show is Sunday, December 2, 8:00 pm ET on Fox.

College football may have been saving its best for last. It started Friday when Arkansas beat LSU in overtime. Missouri beat Kansas in that big war in the Midwest. Kentucky, not big enough or strong enough, stayed on the field with Tennessee for hours in several overtimes.

What: Tailgate For A Purpose benefiting the IMRI Fund at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta in the name of Chayton Williamson, son of Hacker Dawg.

Where: In the parking lot behind the Varsity on North Avenue (look for the Childrens Healthcare banners and listen for StaceDawg)

Why: To help wipe out this terrible disease that affected one of our fellow Dawgs son and so many othere children in our community and State.

It wasn’t the prettiest of efforts, but it was a solid win, cementing at least a tie for the SEC-East crown. In a season that has been so unpredictable, it was nice to see things go as expected for once. Order was somewhat restored in the UGA-UK rivalry. Now comes the big in-state battle. This is the game of the year for GT and their faithful. It could be for the coach’s job (seems like the same thing was said about Fulmer right before they trounced us). This game is almost always closer than you expect.
